Mentorship and Recognitions

As we continue to participate in mentorship programs through our school systems, we are again reminded of how important this is to the students.  Below is an excerpt from a student's paper of her day at King's Mountain Animal Clinic

Because of the experience I had there, I have decided that I do want to become a veterinarian.

In my opinion, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing an animal that was in pain feel better again.       Alyssa Acord   Henry County Schools

King's Mountain Animal Clinic has been presented with

A Certificate and a Salute from the Martinsville High School HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) in honor of National HOSA Week November 5-11,2006

For our support of their Health and Medical Sciences Internship Program

King's Mountain Animal Clinic also received

A Certificate of Appreciation from Petfinders.com Foundation

FOR GENEROUS SUPPORT OF HURRICANE AND DISASTER RELIEF IN THE 2005 RACE TO SAVE PETS PROGRAM

A Certificate of Recognition

For their contribution to the development of the future workforce by participation in the" Oh Henry" Career Development Programs  Sponsored by the Henry County Schools Career Development Department

Below is a student quote of his experience

Overall, my experience with Kings Mountain Animal Clinic was one I will never forget. Working with all of the knowledgeable and friendly staff topped my list.  I quickly found a new respect for everyone in this field and truly look up to all of them as heroes to some pets and their family members.  I could only hope that wherever I work that I can have such a wonderful support staff and fellow employees.
